An SPM Assets focus group meeting for advanced users will be held on 13 May in Auckland.

It will cover:

• Exploring the configuration options with Mobile Vrs 6.2 to undertake
  • Condition and performance survey
  • Defects survey
  • Asset verification and tagging
  • Simple data collection using asset attributes
  • Testing and tagging
  • Survey intelligence dashboards
  • Infield work scoping with Schedule of Rates
• Dashboard reporting to provide ‘asset intelligence' to the governing body
• Creating templates for ‘Schedule of Components' for specific property types within asset references using the new ‘relationships' function
• Preventative maintenance regimes influencing asset remaining lives
• Present SPM's configuration for three of our largest clients to provoke ideas:
  • Provincial Govt Western Cape (Sth Africa) - 7 mil m2 of floor space
  • NSW Housing - 148,000 houses
  • Auckland Council - $10bn of property assets
• Presentation of the current Roadmap items including:
  • Interfacing module - provide for linking with any proprietary software through web services
  • Extensive dashboard reporting - using historic works data to compare to current and forecast conditions and values
  • Enhanced configurability - allowing Channel Partners and users to more easily configure the application for their needs
  • Mobile Vrs7.0 - moving to the new HTML5 environment allowing for even greater functionality including options of Apple and Android Apps
  • Performance optimisation - behind the scenes engineering through VMware Servers (cloud environment)
