SPM Software for City of Cockburn |
|
The City of Cockburn in Perth Western Australia has licensed SPM Property to support its preparations in implementing an asset management planning framework.
The project will also involve an extensive building survey programme using SPM Survey; the establishment of an Information Management Strategy and the definition of property quality standards as outlined in the IPWEA NAMS.AU Building Condition and Performance Assessment Guidelines published in July 2009 and written by SPM.
At the completion of the exercise, SPM will produce a comprehensive report summarising the current asset quality, the desired quality, the shortfalls, projects to address the shortfalls compared to existing programmes, and how to continue the process and maintain the data.
Commenting on the project, Steve Lyons, SPM Managing Director said, “This is a vitally important project for SPM. Not only does it cement our presence in Perth with the work we are doing for Spotless at Perth Convention Centre and Edith Cowan University, but it also enables us to provide our complete package of software and services to our first Local Council customer in Australia. We are delighted to be working with the Council on this project and to implement our 7 Point Framework, taking further the guidance we have provided in the NAMS Manuals.”
